Is Your Cholesterol Levels Goes Up & Down? Do This!

In order to help stabilize the cholesterol levels which goes up and down, you need to do this.

Controlling cholesterol levels from getting too high is something that must be done for every person. This is to prevent the increased risk of deadly diseases, such as heart disease and stroke.

But sometimes, cholesterol cannot be continuously stable. Some go up, and sometimes down. Have you ever experienced it? Do not panic.

To control the cholesterol which goes up and down, the doctor may advise you to take anti-cholesterol drugs. But this only applies for those of you who have certain conditions.

Exercise can help stabilize cholesterol levels in the body by increasing levels of good cholesterol (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL). So it is with a healthy lifestyle.

The type of good exercise is for stabilizing cholesterol which goes up and down are walking, running relaxed, gymnastics, swimming, and cycling. You are also advised to exercise at least 3-5 times a week, for 30 minutes.

While a healthy lifestyle that you can apply to stabilize your cholesterol levels which go up and down are:

  1. Avoid and limit fried foods
  2. Eating lots of vegetables and fruits
  3. Eating fish, such as salmon and tuna twice a week
  4. Add olive oil and garlic in food as a flavoring
  5. Maintaining a healthy weight
  6. Eating 2 grams of plant stanols esters, 2 times a day

The above steps can also be followed if you are already taking anti-cholesterol drugs, but the levels are still difficult to control. At least it can help you achieve optimal cholesterol levels without adding higher doses of the drug.

If the above ways are still not able to stabilize cholesterol levels go up and down, immediately consult a doctor before it's too late.
